We had a fantastic stay at this cozy family house along the Camino Portuguese. the hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. the location was perfect, situated right on the Camino trail, making it convenient for us as a family with kids. the house had spacious and clean facilities, with new showers that were a dream after a long day of walking. the breakfast included toast, cereals, and a variety of hot beverages, giving us a good start to our day. the peaceful surroundings added to the overall charm of the place.
The shared bathrooms can get a bit busy during peak times, but it's manageable and doesn't detract from the overall positive experience.

We loved the stunning French country villa vibes of this place, with beautifully decorated rooms in a beach style. the garden was absolutely beautiful, and the host was lovely. Being able to walk to a fishing beach and a small strip of eateries was a definite plus. the fact that breakfast was already prepared for early starters was a convenient touch.
Felt very lucky, no complaints whatsoever.

We got great value for our money at A Darsena Do Frances. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated with a beach-style vibe. The location was perfect, far enough from town to be quiet and relaxing, but still close to the beach. The staff treated us like family, providing helpful and friendly service.
The only thing that could make the breakfast option better would be to add some fresh fruits and good cereal.

The location of the hotel is a bit inconvenient, as it is quite a walk away from the city center. the front yard can get muddy, making it difficult to enter the house. the hotel compensates for this with its big and clean rooms that offer a beautiful view of the field and sunset. the dorms have great heating, a rarity on the Camino route. the facility also provides a satisfying breakfast and has a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.

The hotel had a beautiful garden and a nice interior. I really enjoyed the option to prepare a tea/coffee for free. the breakfast was also really nice, although a bit more variety wouldn't hurt. the location was key, with some dining options nearby. the owners were friendly and helpful, making the stay comfortable and clean.
There were not enough bathrooms for the number of guests, causing inconvenience during peak times. the bunk beds were not the most comfortable, even though the rooms were equipped with air conditioning.

I recently stayed at A Darsena Do Frances for my Camino de Santiago journey. The location right on the Camino was incredibly convenient, and the hostel itself was lovely. The highlight for me was the amazing garden, which had multiple sitting options for relaxing. In addition, the hostel provided an equipped kitchen, allowing me to cook my own meals. The friendly manager and proximity to restaurants, the beach, and a supermarket made my stay even better. I would definitely recommend this place.
